Domain-specific bodies

These bodies publish only one or two standards, but they are very influential:

• Dublin Core Metadata Initiative - pervasive metadata structure for defining bibliographic details
• ITIL Open Guide - the IT infrastructure library, see also ISO20000
• Unicode - worldwide standards (such as UTF-8) used to represent all characters
