Quokkawiki: Quick Start

Quick Start

NB: You will need administrative privileges on the machine you install QuokkaWiki on.

Windows

1. Download the latest QuokkaWiki package
2. Download IndigoPerl
3. Install IndigoPerl
   1. Extract ZIP file to C:\IndigoPerl.
   2. Double-click setup.bat
4. Extract the QuokkaWiki files to C:\IndigoPerl\apache\htdocs\quokkawiki
5. Modify the conf/prefs.module as required
6. Start your browser, and go to http://localhost/quokkawiki or as required to view and modify Wiki pages

Fedora Linux

1. Download the latest QuokkaWiki package
2. Extract the ZIP files to /var/www/html or a suitable subdirectory
3. Make sure that the apache user has write access to the 'pages' subdirectory
4. Modify the conf/prefs.module as required
5. Start your browser, and go to http://localhost or as required to view and modify Wiki pages
